Seasons & Cycles
There's something beautiful, poetic even, about witnessing yourself slipping down into the depths of the natural cycles of birth, death, rebirth.
Of watching, almost from the outside, as the inner world spirals even further inward, as the seasons shift, as the inevitably of winter beckons.
☽ This is our chance, to consciously watch ourselves prepare to die the most radiant, exquisite death.
To curl into ourselves, into the earth, as she prepares for hibernation. She takes us with her, whether we want it or not. And if we do not struggle, the descent is easier, and we are shown the sweetness and divine potential inherent in this rest. For it is not a death that is meant to be painful. But that like a caterpillar spinning its cocoon, knowing it will become a butterfly, because that is simply what it does.
Just as you are here to share your gifts and your light with the world. It is simply what you came here for.
Here is your time to come into yourself, to prepare your nest, and to surrender into the softness of your heart. This is the time to gather your sisters around you, strengthen your team, and know you are held by a force that cannot be named, only felt.
I feel myself journeying, traveling downward into stillness. I don't resist. In the past I did. In the past I fought it, continuing to push, hustle, grind, work hard at all costs. But now, I look in awe at how simple it all is. The cycles of nature. Of me. My body that is an extension of nature. How silly I was to argue with reality.
The darkness approaches. You can open your arms and welcome it through you, or you can deny it until it overcomes and destroys you. Either way, mother nature rules supreme.
This is not the time to "push hard to the finish line" (aka burnout...). This is the time to recognize that you are a magnetic being, and to reflect what you see in the changing of the seasons by embodying that frequency in your life.
The bounty is here. Can you trust that you are worthy of receiving it, simply because you exist?
You are, beloved sister.
